ART HARVEST-IVAL

Beat the black Friday mobs and check out the Ratner Museum first ever Art Harvest-ival!  What is an Art Harvest-ival you ask?  It is tremendously crafted items made by the uber talented members of Studio In-Sight of St. Luke's House.  Come to Bethesda on Sunday the 20th from 11-2 and see what all the fuss is about.

What items will be there you ask?  Too many to list frankly.

OAIB 2011

Studio In-Sight is proud to be a part of Art Enables annual fall juried group show, OAIB (Outsider Art Inside the Beltway) for the fifth year running.  This years OAIB will be showcasing 23 new and recent stunning works by Studio In-Sight wonderful artists.  All this alongside crafty concoctions from:

Spring Dell Center, and independent artists
Gregory Campbell, Alvin Thomas, Balinda Cunningham,
Lawrence Harrison, Billy Workman, Bevan Pienaar, and
      Victoria Gardner.

As if this isn't enough, this year's OAIB will be running alongside an entirely new show "A Sampling from Outside the Beltway".  Exhibited together for the first time, twenty-six studios from New York to Hawaii offer a sample of their artists’ work. A leisurely stroll around the Off- Rhode Studio gives visitors an insightful census of outsider and visionary art across the country.

This is one for the books folks; you don't want to miss it.
(Did I mention refreshments?)
