Studio In-Sight, of Montgomery County, MD is proud to host the second annual Outer Limits group exhibit at St. Luke’s House in Bethesda, MD. Opening reception will be on Sunday, July 11th from 11am- 2pm. The opening is free to the public, will feature a live musical performance, and light refreshments will be served.When operating in unconventional ways, unconventional people can do extraordinary things. Is this “out there”, “strange”, or “bizarre”? This arts exhibit is meant to highlight how some art and artists live, work, and prosper from a unique other state. Participants for this exhibit come from a vast array of backgrounds and are creating from non-traditional settings. By joining together for this group exhibition, our entire community is offered a rare perspective into how the desire to create can effect positive social and individual change.

Great news!!! The University of Maryland, Graduate School of Social Work has chosen Studio In-Sight for its inaugural art show in Baltimore. The show will be up in the School of Social Work building for three months! Here are the particulars:
Starting off 2010 with a bang by having our first ever show in Virginia! The show is open to the public from January 3rd-31st with a reception (catered by St. Elmo's) on Sunday January 10th from 2pm-4pm. The show is open to the public during regular shop hours:

Studio In-Sight has a large amount of art showing in this years wonderful Art Enables run outsider art extravaganza. DON'T MISS IT!
Studio In-Sight of St. Luke’s House is part of the 10th anniversary of ARTOMATIC, which runs from May 29th-July5th! The whirlwind, nomadic event, with its 1,500 artists and performers in tow, is filling a brand-new, 275,000-square-foot office building at the NAVY YARD METRO with all Washington's creative types have to offer. The studio is one of the few groups (as opposed to individual artists) that has been allowed to participate in this show so please do come out (and invite your friends and family) and show your support! ARTOMATIC is an event not to be missed. Several of the artists from Studio In-Sight will be at the space on Saturday June 13th from 2PM-3PM if you would like to meet them.
