St. Elmo's Coffee Pub 2010

Starting off 2010 with a bang by having our first ever show in Virginia! The show is open to the public from January 3rd-31st with a reception (catered by St. Elmo's) on Sunday January 10th from 2pm-4pm. The show is open to the public during regular shop hours:
Mon - Fri 6am-10pm
Sat 7am - 10pm

SIS in Silver Spring!



Come see new and recent visions from the uniquely talented artists of the Studio In-Sight of the St. Luke’s House Life Skills Program. The show will be at Space 7:10 in the Kefa Café in the heart of downtown Silver Spring.

There will be a “Meet the Artists” reception on October 16th from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Come celebrate the artists, be the first to see the brand new 2010 Studio In-Sight calendar, and more. Refreshment provided.

Studio In-Sight is having it's third annual group art show, OUTER LIMITS, to celebrate the unique vision of artists from alternative backgrounds. Art from the show will focus on visions that stretch the imagination, as well as artists showing far out places. The event will be hosted by St. Luke's House, Inc., where the studio was born in 2006. Other amazing art groups that will be participating in the show - Art Enables (DC), Arundel Lodge (Anne Arundel County). On display and for sale will be a variety of paintings, drawings, collages, birdhouses, woodwork, magnets and bookmarks made by these talented craftspeople.

The show is ONE DAY ONLY!

ARTOMATIC!



Studio In-Sight of St. Luke’s House is part of the 10th anniversary of ARTOMATIC, which runs from May 29th-July5th! The whirlwind, nomadic event, with its 1,500 artists and performers in tow, is filling a brand-new, 275,000-square-foot office building at the NAVY YARD METRO with all Washington's creative types have to offer. The studio is one of the few groups (as opposed to individual artists) that has been allowed to participate in this show so please do come out (and invite your friends and family) and show your support! ARTOMATIC is an event not to be missed. Several of the artists from Studio In-Sight will be at the space on Saturday June 13th from 2PM-3PM if you would like to meet them.

BACK TO BASICS - FEBRUARY SHOW!


The Studio In-Sight is getting back to their roots with a ten day show at The Dennis & Phillip Ratner Museum-Carriage House in Bethesda, Maryland. The SIS group began almost three years ago meeting in this classroom studio space and is excited for the opportunity to show there. The group has been working hard over the fall and winter season to create a brilliant array of drawings, paintings, woodwork, and more.

Please join us for our opening reception on Sunday, February 15th from 1:30PM-3:30PM or come by during other open museum hours from February 15th-25th.
